Let's take a look at what I like to call the dieting cycle. You go on a diet, lose a few pounds, celebrate, go back to your old eating habits, gain weight, mourn, go on a diet, lose a few pounds, you know the rest. Most would agree this cycle is no fun. Each time it may be even harder to lose weight. Why doesn't it work? Most diets are designed to give you fast results. They are not based on health principles therefore are not healthy in the long run. They are also not designed to be permanent changes. In order for weight loss to be permanent you need to make permanent changes in the way you are eating or exercising, or both. Strip That Fat teaches what changes you need to make in order to make that weight loss permanent.
Some of these changes include what snacks you are consuming. Are you reaching for that potato chip bag when you are hungry? Did you know that many times people mistake thirst for hunger. Before reaching for an unhealthy snack try a cold drink of water. Your body will also burn extra calories as it works to heat the cold water up. Other changes include replacing foods made with white flour for whole grain foods, snack on carrot sticks, or fruit instead of chips, and pretzels.
If you want to enjoy long term weight loss you can. You are not a victim of your past, or genes. You can enjoy the happiness and freedom that comes with weighing your ideal weight. You deserve it.
